The first folk kiln in Central Plains, Zhengzhou Dengfeng Kiln Ceramics Museum

Let's enjoy the Dengfeng Kiln white-glazed pearl-background porcelain pillow, which is a cultural relic from the Song Dynasty (960-1279) Now it's collected in the Capital Museum.

Established in September 2012, Zhengzhou Dengfeng Kiln Ceramics Museum is located in Wang Village, Donghua Town of Dengfeng, a historical and cultural city. Covering an area of more than 20 mu, the museum has an building area of more than 3000 square meters.

The museum mainly collects ceramics from Dengfeng Kiln, and ceramics from other nearby kilns. There are more than 30,000 porcelain specimens (pieces), including more than 20,000 ceramic specimens (pieces) from the Neolithic culture in it.

In addition to the collectibles exhibition, the museum also replicates a traditional ceramic production line, reproducing the technological process of ceramic processing, production and firing process in Song Dynasty.

Through the display of these ancient ceramic specimens, traditional replicas, modern ceramic products and traditional production and firing process, the ceramic history and culture of Dengfeng are comprehensively and deeply reflected, so that people could perceive Dengfeng's glorious past, recognize its beautiful present and look forward to its attractive future.

As a non-profit folk cultural institution, Zhengzhou Dengfeng Kiln Ceramic Museum is a permanent public welfare institution that aims to promote Songshan ceramic culture and serve for social development. It is also a base for traditional and patriotic education for the majority of young people.
