Zhengzhou Temple of Confucian in the romantic season
Located next to the Shang Dynasty Ruins, Zhengzhou Temple of Confucian, also seems more solemn in the continuous drizzle. As the documented largest and oldest ancient architectural complex in Zhengzhou, the Confucian Temple was built in the Eastern Han Dynasty more than 1,900 years ago. At that time, Zhengzhou Temple of Confucian had an area of 37 mu. It was built in front of Beijing Temple of Confucian in the sixth year of Dade in the Yuan Dynasty, Jilin Temple of Confucian completed in the first year of Xuantong Dynasty, and the Southern Temple which was expanded from the Eastern Jin Dynasty Academic Palace in the first year of Jingyou. The history of Zhengzhou Temple of Literature was second only to Shandong Qufu Temple of Literature.That is to say, more than 1900 years ago, Zhengzhou had quite a style of "respecting teachers and valuing education", and it already had schools and a considerable number of intellectuals.

The changes of each dynasty also affected the changes of the temple of Literature deeply. For thousands of years, the temple of Literature in Zhengzhou went through several times of prosperity and destruction, and the fate was disastrous. Especially in the Yuan Dynasty, it was almost reduced to ashes, and later it was rebuilt after the original appearance.
