The Zhengzhou-Luxembourg "Air Silk Road" Forum for International Cooperation, China's first national-level forum themed on the "Air Silk Road" and the grandest forum ever hosted in Central China's Henan province, opens on November 16.

In recent years, the cargo support capacity of Zhengzhou Airport has increased exponentially from 500 thousand tons to 1.1 million tons.As the annual cargo volume of Zhengzhou Airport has successively broken the mark of 500,000 tons, 600,000 tons and 700,000 tons in recent years, the original Zhengzhou airport cargo terminal overload operation can not keep up with the pace of development.

On August 16 this year, the North Cargo Area project of Zhengzhou Airport was put into trial operation. The transfer was completed on September 7, adding new highlights to the "Silk Road in the Sky". With the increased freight support capacity exponentially, the airport significantly improving the delivery of goods.

In the golden autumn season, Zhengzhou Airport cargo terminal is filled with goods from more than 20 countries and regions every day, including milk powder, clothing, cosmetics and other small packages of people's livelihood products, which are measured by tons, and a number of full-cargo planes fly side by side, shuttling from Zhengzhou to Luxembourg, Moscow, Novosibirsk, Liege, Kuala Lumpur, Baku and other international airports every day, bringing urgently needed epidemic prevention materials, electronic products, livelihood goods and other goods to China and the rest of the world.

The air route network of Zhengzhou "Air Silk Road" is increasingly perfect.There are 31 cargo airlines operating in Zhengzhou Airport, with 48 full-cargo routes operating to 26 countries, 42 international and regional destinations, forming an international route network spanning the three major economic zones of Europe, the United States and Asia which covers the world's major economies with multi-point support.

From "one airline" to "multi-win-win", Zhengzhou Airport welcomes new "customers" constantly.

At present, Zhengzhou Airport has seven ports including fruits, chilled aquatic products, edible aquatic animals, meat, live animals, mail, medicine, and is the inland airport with the largest number of functional ports and the most complete types.

In March this year, Zhengzhou Airport was also approved as a national important international mail hub port, which is the fourth important international mail hub port in China after Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou.With the development of Zhengzhou Air Silk Road, the service guarantee advantage of Zhengzhou Airport has gradually become prominent.

To explore and lead the innovative development of the air cargo industry and build a hub economic pilot zone, Henan Airport Group accelerated the promotion of three pilot including electronic cargo, overseas cargo station, "air to air transit" business, to promote the scope of cargo source and distribution to the international extension.
