Zhengzhou Kung fu girl Ran Hongyun and the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics

 

Zhengzhou "Kung fu girl" Ran Hongyun will compete in the Freestyle Skiing Women’s Ski Cross at the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics. No Chinese athlete had competed in the event before at the Winter Olympics, and Ran's inclusion filled a historical gap. In June 2018, Ran Hongyun, who was studying at Tagou Martial Arts School in Zhengzhou, was selected by zheng University Institute of Physical Education and sent to the national training team to prepare for the Beijing Winter Olympics.

郑州“功夫少女”冉鸿运，将在2022北京冬奥会上参加自由式滑雪障碍追逐女子项目比赛。在此前的冬奥会上，中国选手还从未参加过这个项目的角逐，冉鸿运的入选也就此填补了历史空白。2018年6月，在郑州塔沟武校习武的冉鸿运，被郑大体院选中并输送到国家集训队，备战北京冬奥会。

After six years of martial arts training, Ran Hongyun quickly showed her talents in skiing after being selected to the National Ski Team. In October 2018, just four months after switching events, she won a bronze medal in the Freestyle Skiing Women’s Ski Cross at the New Zealand Junior Ski Championships, and in April 2019, she won the Women’s Ski Cross of Freestyle Skiing at the US National Championships, becoming China's standout in the event.

有过6年练习武术套路功底的冉鸿运，在入选国家滑雪队后，很快显露出在滑雪项目上的天赋。2018年10月，仅仅转项4个月，她就在新西兰国家青少年滑雪锦标赛中获得女子双板障碍追逐赛铜牌，2019年4月又在美国国家锦标赛中获得自由式障碍追逐赛冠军，成为中国在这个项目上的佼佼者。

Tagou Martial Arts School has sent 315 Young players to the National Team on Skateboard, BMX, Rock Climbing, skiing and other 9 sports. Before the Winter Olympics, 8 of the members selected by Tagou Martial Arts School were selected into the National Ski Team, they struggled for the Olympic qualification.

塔沟武校先后向国家滑板、小轮车、攀岩等、滑雪运动等9个项目输送了315名苗子队员，冬奥会前，在塔沟武校选送的队员中有8人入选国家滑雪队大名单，冲击奥运资格。
