Zhengzhou’s High-speed Rail Network Begins to Pay off

July 20 marks the one-month anniversary of the opening of the Zhengzhou-Chongqing High-speed Railway and the Zhengzhou-Jinan High-speed Railway(Puyang-Zhengzhou section).The high-speed rail network in Henan Province,which looks like the Chinese character"米",has begun to pay off.
7月20日，郑渝高铁全线贯通、济郑高铁濮阳至郑州段开通运营满月，河南“米”字形高铁联网效应显现。

开通运营首月，郑州铁路部门发送旅客超过110万人次。
"It used to take us at least two and a half hours to drive from Puyang to Zhengzhou,but now it takes us more than 50 minutes by high-speed train from Zhengzhou to Puyang.It's really convenient",said by a Puyang girl who named Zhou that works in Zhengzhou.A month ago,the opening of the Puyang-Zhengzhou section of the Jinan-Zhengzhou high-speed railway made it easier for her to get home.
“濮阳到郑州我们原来开车起码要两个半小时，现在从郑州坐高铁50多分钟就能到濮阳，真是太方便了。”说话的是在郑州打拼的濮阳姑娘小周。一个月前，济郑高铁濮郑段的开通让她的回家路更加方便。
On June 20,the Zhengdu-Chongqing high-speed railway was completed,and the Puyang-Zhengzhou section of the Ji-Zhengzhou high-speed railway was put into operation.The high-speed railway linking Zhengzhou with Chongqing under China Railway Zhengzhou Group Co Ltd has seen 738,000 passengers while that linking Zhengzhou with Jinan(currently Puyang)412,000 passengers.
6月20日，郑渝高铁全线贯通、济郑高铁濮阳至郑州段开通运营，开通一个月以来，郑渝高铁发送旅客73.8万人，济郑高铁濮郑段发送旅客41.2万人。
According to the previous report,both the Zhengzhou-Chongqing High-speed Railway and the Zhengzhou-Jinan High-speed Railway(Puyang-Zhengzhou section)were put into operation on June 20.Together with the Beijing-Guangzhou High-speed Railway,the Xuzhou-Lanzhou High-speed Railway,the Zhengzhou-Fuyang High-speed Railway,the Zhengzhou-Taiyuan High-speed Railway and the Beijing-Hong Kong High-speed Railway(Shangqiu-Hefei section),they have formed a star-shaped high-speed rail network,which has further perfected China's high-speed railway network and begun to pay off.
据了解，6月20日，郑渝高铁全线贯通、济郑高铁濮阳至郑州段开通运营，与已运营的京广高铁、徐兰高铁、郑阜高铁、郑太高铁、京港高铁商合段共同构成“米”字形高铁网络，使我国高速铁路网进一步完善，充分发挥了高铁成网优势。
