Meet the beautiful dance dramas created in Zhengzhou
For the promotion and development of central plain culture, Zhengzhou Song and Dance Theater kicked off its 2023 national tour of "Goddess and the Dreamer" on Feb 8.

The dance drama Goddess and the Dreamer , inspired by The Ode to the Goddess of the Luo River and Quatrain of Seven Steps of Cao Zhi, a gifted litterateur during the Jian'an Period (196-220), created a beautiful goddess image and depicted a poignant love spanning a thousand years.
The 2023 national tour will last for two months, passing through 9 provinces of Guizhou, Yunnan, Guangdong, Guangxi, Jiangxi, Hubei, Shanxi, Anhui and Shandong, covering 15 cities of Chongqing, Guiyang, Kunming, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Dongguan, Nanning, Ganzhou, Zhuhai, Yichun, Wuhan, Taiyuan, Hefei, Shanghai and Qingdao, with 26 performances planned.

In recent years, Zhengzhou Song and Dance Theater has created a large number of famous dance masterpieces nationally, such as the dance drama Shaolin in the Wind, Goddess and the Dreamer, Jing Zhong Bao Guo" (Loyalty to Serve the Country), and the dance Night Banquet at Tang Palace, establishing the image of "artistic Zhengzhou".

Through the domestic tour in recent years, more audiences enter the theater, close experience the charm of Zhengzhou fine art. The national tour will continuously expand the cultural influence of Zhengzhou and make new and greater contributions to the modernization of Zhengzhou as a national central city.
