Zhengzhou International 郑州市连续第八次获得全国双拥模范城殊荣

 

On the denomination of National Double Support Model City & commendation meeting for model units and individuals yesterday, Zhengzhou was once again named the National Double Support Model City. The "National Double Support Model City" is named every four years, and this is the eighth consecutive time that Zhengzhou has won this honor.

在昨日上午举行的全国双拥模范城(县)命名暨 双拥模范单位和个人表彰大会上，郑州市再次被命名为全国双拥模范城。“全国双拥模范城”每四年命名一次，这是我市连续第八次获此殊荣。

 

Zhengzhou is a large city for soldiers and garrison troops, as well as a placement city. There are many garrison units with high standards and large numbers are there. The number of information collection for demobilized soldiers and other special care objects in Zhengzhou has reached more than 300,000, and the number of households with glory nameplates has reached more than 290,000. Each year, more than 4,000 soldiers are enlisted and demobilized veterans are accepted.It has won the title of national "Model City of Double Support" for seven consecutive times and henan Province's "Model City of Double Support" for eight consecutive times.

郑州市是兵员大市、驻军大市，也是优抚安置大市，驻军单位多、规格高、数量大，全市退役军人和其他优抚对象信息采集人数已达30余万人，悬挂光荣牌户数已达29万余户。每年征集兵员和接收转业退伍军人4000多人，此前已连续七次荣获全国“双拥模范城”称号，连续八次荣获河南省“双拥模范城”称号。
