The History of Zhengzhou

　Zhengzhou has a long history. As early as 3600 years ago, here is the

　　city of the Shang Dynasty, the Xia and Shang, Zheng and Han, for all 5, Sui,

　　Tang and Five Dynasties, song, Jin, yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasty set up in

　　this state, is one of the eight ancient capitals of China and union of the world

　　historical city members. 3600 years ago, it was one of the important cities of

　　cultural relics protection units. Songshan scenic area is one of 44 national

　　key scenic area and national civilized scenic tourism demonstration sites, "the

　　best in all the Land Temple Shaolin Temple is located at the foot of Songshan,

　　known at home and abroad of Shaolin Kung Fu from here to the world. Here is

　　the earliest astronomical building the Zhougong sundial platform Observatory,

　　Chinese in Song Dynasty and Yuan Dynasty and one of the four college

　　Songyang academy, the largest Taoist buildings in China Temple etc.. Around

　　Zhengzhou, and dotted with ancient culture, ancient tombs, ancient buildings,

　　ancient passes and ancient battlefield sites, famous historical figures, Huangdi

　　Liezi, Zichan, Shen, Han Feizi, Zheng Guo, Chen Sheng, Zhang Liang, Du Fu,

　　Bai Juyi, pan, Li Shangyin, was born in Zhengzhou.
