Peony丨牡丹花开 商都满城香

　　From April 12 to May 10, the 9th Peony Show of Zhengzhou City sponsored by Bureau of Parks and Woods will begin in four parks including Zhengzhou Botanical Garden,so without going to Luoyang, the mass in Zhengzhou could enjoy the exquisite beauty of peonies.

　　4月12日～5月10日，由市园林局主办的“绿满商都 花绘郑州”郑州市第九届牡丹芍药花展将在郑州植物园等4个公园同时开幕，市民无需远赴洛阳，一样可以欣赏到国色天香的多款牡丹。

　　

 

　　In Zhengzhou Botanical Garden, there are about 434 varieties of peonies and 24 cultivars of herbaceous peonies in the specialized garden of peony, which includes 4 variety populations from central plain, northwest, south of the Yangtze River and overseas with red, white, pink, yellow,purple, blue, green, black and multicolor.

　　郑州植物园牡丹芍药专类园内收集牡丹品种434个、芍药品种94个，拥有中原、西北、江南、海外4个牡丹品种群，红、白、粉、黄、紫、蓝、绿、黑及复色九大色系。

　　

 

　　另外还有日本的花王、圣代以及美国的海黄、金晃等海外精品。花展期间，植物园将开展古典服饰演绎与展示、唐装文化知识讲座、“牡丹仙子”和“花王”评选等活动。

　　There are also other varieties such as flower Kings from Japan, sundaes, sea yellow from American. During the flower show, varieties activities would be held like classical costume exhibition, tang costume culture knowledge lecture, “peony fairy” and “flower king” selection etc.

　　

 

　　It is reported that there will be a difference between peony and Chinese herbaceous peon in different varieties. The variety population of peony from central plain and south of the Yangtze River will meet the full-blossom period during April 15 to April 20, and the overseas variety population will meet their full-blossom period around April 20 to 28, and for Chinese herbaceous peony, April 28 to May 8.

　　据介绍，不同品种的牡丹和芍药花期有所差别，中原及江南牡丹种群预计4月15日至20日进入盛花期，海外种群预计4月20日至28日进入盛花期，芍药预计4月28日至5月8日进入盛花期。

　　

 

　　Besides Zhengzhou botanical garden, the peony garden of People's Park, Bishagang Park and Xiliuhu Park will also hold the exhibition of peony.

　　除郑州植物园外，人民公园、碧沙岗公园、西流湖公园的牡丹园也将作为本次花展的分展区同时举办花展。
