Sports Games丨河南省少数民族运动会9月6日在郑州开幕

　　The 8th Henan Minority Groups Traditional Sports Games will open in Zhengzhou on September 6 and the preparation works heads into the home stretch.

　　河南省第八届少数民族传统体育运动会将于9月6日在郑州开幕，目前赛事的筹备活动已经进入倒计时的冲刺阶段。

　　With 2,000 athletes taking part in the match, its scale sets a new record.

　　2000名运动员参赛 规模创新高

　　Lasting for five days, the 8th Henan Minority Groups Traditional Sports Games will be held in Zhengzhou on September 6 to September 10 with 2,000 athletes from 21 ethnic groups.The opening and closing ceremonies will be held separately at 8pm on September 6 and 8pm on September 9 at the central stadium of Zhengzhou University's new campus.

　　第八届全省民族运动会将于9月6日至10日在郑州市举行，整个运动会为期5天，共有21个民族约2000名运动员参赛。开、闭幕式将分别于9月6日晚上8点和9月9日晚上8点在郑州大学新校区中心体育馆举行。

 

stilts running race (高脚竞速)

　　The game has been divided into two major categories as competitive events and demonstration events. There are 17 items in the competitive events, such as pearl ball, shuttlecock, wooden balls, cuqiu activity, top, sneakers races, wushu, wrestling, stilts running race, yajia, Sparkler-grabbing, dragon-boat racing,crossbow, swing, Single-Bamboo Floating, aerobics, Diabolo Ball and so on.

　　赛事分为竞赛项目和表演项目两大类

　　其中竞赛项目设珍珠球、毽球、木球、蹴球、陀螺、板鞋竞速、少数民族武术、民族式摔跤、高脚竞速、押加、花炮、龙舟、射弩、秋千、独竹漂、民族健身操、空竹球等17个项目;表演项目分竞技、技巧和综合竞技三类，共38项。

　　The match will be arranged in 18 playing fields of 5 competition areas which includes Henan provincial sports center, physical culture institute of Zhengzhou University, Zhengzhou Institute of Technology, Zhengzhou no.11 middle school, and Longhu lake in Zhengdong New Area.

　　比赛将安排在省体育中心、郑州大学体育学院、郑州工程技术学院、郑州十一中和郑东新区龙湖等5个赛区的18个赛场进行。

　　This game will be a grand sports events with the largest scale, highest specifications, the most envisaged, the number of participants and the largest ethnic traditional sports event in the history of our province.

　　本届运动会将是我省历史上规模最大、规格最高、设想最多、参赛人数和参赛民族最多的一次少数民族传统体育盛会。
