Zhengzhou International 郑州荣膺“国家生态园林城市”称号

Zhengzhou was awarded the title of "National Ecological Garden City" at the site of urban landscaping planning and construction meeting on the afternoon of June 30 in Henan Province.

6月30日下午，在河南省城市园林绿化规划设计建设现场会上，郑州获颁“国家生态园林城市”奖牌。

 

 

After years of unremitting efforts, Zhengzhou has become the first provincial capital to the north of the Yangtze River area to win this award finally.

至此，经过多年不懈努力，郑州市国家生态园林城市创建梦圆，成为长江以北地区首个获此殊荣的省会以上城市!

National ecological garden city is the highest honor of urban landscaping in China.

It is an important achievement for Zhengzhou to fully implement Xi Jinping thought on ecological civilization and adhere to the development concept of "Lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets".

国家生态园林城市是我国城市园林绿化工作的最高荣誉。

荣膺这一称号，是郑州市全面践行习近平生态文明思想，坚持“绿水青山就是金山银山”发展理念取得的重要成果。

After the founding of the People's Republic of China, Zhengzhou started from a "sandstorm city" with only 77 street trees. It vigorously carried out afforestation work outside the city and landscaping work in the central urban area. It was honored as "green City" in the 1980s and established as a national garden city in 2006.

新中国成立后，郑州从一座只有77棵行道树的“风沙城”起步，大力开展城市外围植树造林和中心城区园林绿化工作，上世纪80年代被誉为“绿城”，2006年创建成国家园林城市。

By the end of 2019, the total green areas in Zhengzhou had reached 195 million square meters, with a green area of 35.84%, a green coverage rate of 40.83%, and a per capita green area of 13.2 square meters, increasing by 4.14%, 5.93 %, and 5.03 square meters respectively compared with 2006.

截至2019年底，郑州市建成区绿化总面积1.95亿平方米，绿地率35.84%、绿化覆盖率40.83%、人均公园绿地面积13.2平方米，分别比2006年增加4.14个百分点、5.93个百分点、5.03平方米。

At present, the ecological corridor with a total length of 3558 kilometers has become the city card of Zhengzhou.

目前，全长3558公里的生态廊道已成为闪光的城市“名片”;

It has built 1785-mu Garden Expo Park, 10,000-mu Longhu Ecological and Cultural Park, 3,200-mu Xianghu Ecological and Wet Park, 2,800-mu Longzi Lake Plant Park, the zonal ecological cultural Park of the South-to-North Water Diversion Project, South Ring Park, Xiliuhu Park, sculpture Park and other large comprehensive parks, with hundreds of new parks, amusement parks and micro-parks.

建成1785亩园博园、万亩龙湖生态文化公园、3200亩象湖生态湿地公园、2800亩龙子湖植物公园、南水北调带状生态文化公园，以及南环公园、西流湖公园、雕塑公园等大型综合性公园，新建公园、游园、微公园数百个。

More than 60% of the city's residential areas (units) has been created to a garden-style residential areas (units), more and more citizens enjoy the green life environment where they can see green trees at doors.
