Founded in October 2009, The Zhengzhou Museum of Natural Science is a museum with distinctive local characteristics, supported by special funds ofZhengzhou Municipal Government and contracted by Zhengzhou Normal University.

郑州自然博物馆建立于2009年10月，是由郑州市政府专项资金支持、郑州师范学院承建、地方特色鲜明的博物馆。

 

 

 

 

The museum is mainly engaged in the specimen collection and exhibition on animal, plant, paleontology, mineral, soil, water resources and other fields,which connecting the functions of Specimen collection, exhibition, collection of teaching, scientific research, popular science and other functions.

该馆主要从事动物、植物、古生物、矿物、土壤、水资源等领域的标本收藏、展览，集教学、科研、科普等功能于一体。

 

 

 

 

Covering an area of 5,000 square meters, there are 11 permanent exhibition areas. The exhibition hall collects and exhibits 10,000 plus specimens, among which there are more than 300 national first-class and second-class rare animal specimens, such as the Chinese alligator, the monitor lizard, the great madam, the red-crowned crane, the golden eagle, the South China tiger, the Siberian tiger and the Leopard.

展厅面积5,000平方米，共11个常设展区。展馆收藏、展示标本万余件，其中有扬子鳄、巨蜥、大鸨、丹顶鹤、金雕、华南虎、东北虎、金钱豹等国家一、二级珍贵动物标本300余件。
