In recent days, GDP is still an important index to measure the comprehensive strength and influence of a city. Data shows that in 2019, the top 10 provincial capitals in terms of total GDP were Guangzhou, Chengdu, Wuhan, Hangzhou, Nanjing, Zhengzhou, Changsha, Jinan, Hefei and Fuzhou, with the top 7 all exceeding trillion yuan.

当前，GDP总量仍是衡量一座城市综合实力和城市影响力的一个重要指标。数据显示，2019年，省会城市GDP总量前十名分别是广州、成都、武汉、杭州、南京、郑州、长沙、济南、合肥和福州，其中前七名均超过万亿元大关。

In terms of per capita GDP, among the 26 provincial capitals , a total of 23 cities have exceeded the national average level of 70,892 yuan, indicating that the overall economic development level of provincial capitals is relatively high. Eleven cities -- Nanjing, Guangzhou, Hangzhou, Wuhan, Changsha, Fuzhou, Hefei, Zhengzhou, Jinan, Chengdu and Nanchang -- exceeded the 100,000 yuan per capita GDP mark, mainly from the developed eastern coastal areas.

从人均GDP来看，在26个省会城市中, 共有23个城市超过了70892元的全国平均水平，说明省会城市整体经济发展水平较高。有11个城市人均GDP超过10万元大关，分别是南京、广州、杭州、武汉、长沙、福州、合肥、郑州、济南、成都和南昌，主要来自东部沿海发达地区。

Foreign trade import and export data is an important indicator to reflect the outward direction of urban economy. Data showed that 10 provincial capitals -- Guangzhou, Chengdu, Hangzhou, Nanjing, Zhengzhou, Xi 'an, Fuzhou, Wuhan, Hefei and Changsha -- had total foreign trade volume of more than 200 billion yuan in 2019. These cities are all trillion cities with GDP or quasi-trillion cities.

外贸进出口数据是反映城市经济外向度的重要指标。数据显示，有10个省会城市2019年外贸进出口总额超过了2000亿元，分别是广州、成都、杭州、南京、郑州、西安、福州、武汉、合肥和长沙。这些城市均为GDP万亿城市或者准万亿城市。

 

Not only Chengdu, but also Zhengzhou, Wuhan, Xi 'an, Hefei and Changsha, the powerful provincial capitals in central and western China, have gradually become the new heights of inland opening up. Experts have analyzed that the overall cost of land and labor in the east has been relatively high, and many coastal industries are moving to cities in the central and western regions at an accelerating pace. Strong provincial capitals in central and western China, including Chengdu and Zhengzhou, are transportation hubs and regional centers, attracting a large number of export-oriented enterprises and large foreign enterprises.

不只是成都，郑州、武汉、西安、合肥、长沙这几个中西部的强省会目前都已经逐渐成为内陆地区对外开放的新高地。专家分析，东部的土地、劳动力等综合成本已经较高，很多沿海产业加速向中西部城市转移。包括成都、郑州等中西部强省会是交通枢纽、区域中心，吸引了大量外向型企业和大型外企布局。
