Su Garden officially opened in Zhengzhou

Su Garden,a boutique garden located in Zhengzhou Nanhuan Park, which is a combination of the magnificent feature of northern garden and the delicate and elegant characteristics from southern garden officially opened on the morning of December 26.

集北方园林的大气磅礴与南方园林的精致典雅于一体，12月26日上午，位于郑州市南环公园内的精品园林——占地26735平方米的苏园正式对外开放。

苏园所在的南环公园是为实现生态修复而在废弃窑厂、垃圾山基础上建设而成。

 

At the end of 2019, Zhengzhou Municipal Bureau of Parks and Woods started the construction of Su Garden at the southeast corner of Nanhuan Park, which has been completely completed, with 600 square meters of buildings, 1,800 square meters of water system, 1,400 tons of landscape stones installed, 1,700 square meters of paved garden roads, 126 kinds of plants planted, and a total green area of 20,000 square meters.

2019年底，郑州市园林局在南环公园东南角启动苏园建设，目前已全部完工，共建成房屋建筑600平方米、水系1800平方米，安装景石1400吨，铺装园路1700平方米，栽种各类植物126种，绿化总面积20000平方米。

 

With song-style architecture as the framework, the Su Garden creates a landscape surrounded by mountains and water. The plant landscape takes Rose as the theme, highlighting "one centre,one axis, four areas and eight scenes" : "One centre" refers to the landscape of garden, "one axis" refers to the theme axis of Rose, and "four areas" refers to the four areas of flower stream, flower garden, flower field and flower valley. A variety of roses are planted there in the flower valley.

苏园以宋式建筑为骨架，通过堆山理水营造山环水抱的景致，植物景观以月季为主题，突出“一心一轴四区八景”：“一心”即花苑区景观，“一轴”即月季主题轴，“四区”即花溪、花苑、花田、花谷4个区域。其中，花谷区域大面积种植品种月季、树状月季。

 

The ancient Song style architecture is one of the main features of the Garden. The Xieshan Gable, white walls, grey tiles, red doors and Windows all show the charm of introversion, quietness, beauty and elegance. The center of the park Fuxiang pavilion is elegant,under the high point Yihong Pavilion,there are cloud platform and waterfall.The roads in the park are paved with cobblestones, marbles, granite ice cracks, and embedded with different modellings about traditional Chinese patterns.

古色古香的宋式建筑是苏园一大特色，单檐歇山顶、白墙、灰瓦、粟红门窗，尽显内敛沉静、巧丽纤雅之韵。园区中心馥香馆轻灵秀逸，制高点倚虹阁下有云台飞瀑景观。园内道路采用鹅卵石铺装方式、鹅卵石与弹石结合铺装方式、花岗岩冰裂纹铺装方式，嵌入松鹤延年、儒家五常、牡丹花、年年有鱼、荷花、五福拜寿、金钱飘带、海棠花、寿桃、暗八仙等图案，造型精巧、寓意丰富。

 

After the opening of the Garden, five categories of park cultural activities would be gradually developed including characteristic flower exhibition, cultural and creative market, natural education, art exhibition and mass activities, to build a park cultural stage shared by the whole people, and bring a new experience of leisure to the public.

苏园开园后，将逐步开展特色花展、文创市集、自然教育、艺术展演、群众活动五大类公园文化活动，搭建全民共享的公园文化大舞台，为市民群众带来休闲游园的全新体验。
