Zhengzhou received 7.15 million person-time in Spring Festival holiday

During the Spring Festival holiday of the Year of the Rabbit, Zhengzhou was listed among the top 10 most popular destinations in China, showing a strong recovery of the cultural and tourism market.
According to big data monitoring, sampling survey and statistics of districts, counties (cities), Zhengzhou received a total of 7.15 million tourists, a year-on-year growth of 12.95%, and the total tourism revenue was 4.639 billion yuan, a year-on-year growth of 5.79%.

During the holiday, Zhengzhou launched nearly 300 cultural tourism measures to benefit the citizens and visitors, providing a strong guarantee for the strong recovery of cultural tourism consumption.
According to statistics, the city held more than 490 cultural tourism activities, the implementation of cultural tourism consumption subsidies of 210.232 million yuan, the participants reached 992,400 person-time, directly driving consumption of 285 million yuan.

According to Ctrip's big data, that bookings for home-stays and tickets for scenic spots in Zhengzhou increased by 407 percent and 188 percent year on year during the Spring Festival.
During the holiday, the city's 17 scenic spots under key monitoring received a total of 1,551,874 tourists, a year-on-year growth of 56.45%; Ticket revenue reached 139,402,751 million yuan, up 81.47% year on year.
Zhengzhou has also carried out online performance activities for the 2023 Spring Festival. 73 selected plays (programs), such as dance drama Shaolin in the Wind, Yu Opera Descendants of the Yellow River , dance Banquet of Tang Palace, received highly favorable reviews.
